Eyes back on the frame...
It looked like it just needed new fabric but this chair had been recovered over its previous tired fabric and the foam was torn and reduced to dust so it got a full reupholstery and Designers Guild Matara faux leather in Onyx.

Sprung back...
This large armchair was out of use due to the state of its base, all webbing and springs out of action. So i gave it new webs, reused the springs, new hessian and cotton felt.

A bit more than a recover...
This chair came in for a just a recover and once its top fabric was removed revealed it needed much more...a full reupholstery! Although it was still comfortable, the zig zag springs were damaged, the foam was reduced to dust, the straw was still in shape but had to go to change the springs. Plus client wasn't too keen to keep the straw...

Frisco Bay in Fulham...
And here is the Guy Rogers sofa finished, covered in Linwood velvet. The Frisco Bay range made in the 1960s was sold exclusively in Heals. As for the matching chairs, I just gave their seat new foam. This apartment was completely refurbished and the interior designed by Jenna Laxton.

Et voilĂ !...
I always love to see the transformation! This large armchair got a total revamp, its frame painted in chalk paint by its owner was already a drastic change. It has a new back and foam cushion and is recovered in a beautiful velvet raised print from Scion. And a new addition to its original design, the 5 shallow buttons.

And this is it...
Really pleased with the result, I think that colour is amazing with those legs! I used a beautiful velvet from Christian Lacroix Atelier Fabrics collection for Designers Guild in Monceau Denim. I stripped the chair totally, gave it new elastic webbing and upholstery, changed the inner back design slightly, inspired by SCP's Oscar sofa.
And the good news is that it is for sale at £685!

Last Summer...
Last Summer, I walked past that chair in a fair and fell in love with its legs! Although my house definitely doesn't need an extra armchair, I just couldn't resist buying it with straight away that colour in mind to go with the legs...That project took me a while to complete as it had to be done in between clients' work but that's it!

Promising...
There wasn't much left of this German armchair but its shape looked very promising! Completely stripped and reupholstered with foam, I then used Marvic Textiles in Titian Bracken which I love as it kept the vintage feel and Linwood Omega in Leaf for its cushion.

Large armchair coming for a recover and getting a little bit more...
When they bought this large comfy armchair, its owners had a clear vision for its transformation. The top fabric was in a tired condition and the back was upholstered in foam which was reduced to near dust. So I stripped it and gave the back some hessian, rubberised hair and cotton felt. Nearly finished!
