Staple & Tack has moved to Copenhagen...

 

Moving to the country of Wegner, Jacobsen, Juhl, Panton, &Tradition, Muuto and so many more this summer was more than appealing, I'm in heaven! Sad to leave all my lovely regular clients...always here for advice though!

SCP sofa recovered

 

It is rare to get to upholster or recover a sofa that was actually built well and with noble materials. This Heal's SCP 3 seater sofa had been so well upholstered years ago, with hair and cotton felt, that it just needed a recover. Client chose to swap the 2 large seat cushions for a single one, foam core and feather wrapped, and add some back cushions for comfort.

This cool swivel had been abandoned on the pavement, my lucky client picked it up and asked me to give it another chance...

Swan rocking chair reupholstered

It took a little while for this sweet rocking chair to be fully reupholstered as some suppliers were not open for business but it is now looking beautiful in this hard wearing damask and painted frame.

House of Hackney brings it back

Much loved and in use tired leather chair came to me for reupholstery. I felt the fabric needed to have a traditional and luxurious feel but with a today twist. House of Hackney never disappoints.

Like nothing happened...

Something definitely happened! I stripped and recovered this very large chaise longue (and so heavy!) with a soft denim fabric.

Interior styling, bespoke ottoman and upholstery

Interior styling project and upholstery for this client's living room.
The idea was to lift it up, come up with a new colour scheme tying in with the existing pieces. So I recovered the sofa in a mustard yellow velvet, made a bespoke ottoman in a striking black and white print, the wall is now deep blue and some soft luxurious pink velvet cushions are scattered on the sofa. Some framed black and white photographs are coming soon on the wall... Really pleased with the result, client too!
